Researching the past, present, and future of outer space

Throughout history, many have often looked up and wondered about the skies, and StarWrite.org seeks to aggregate information about some of the most interesting news and events in the astronomy world. From the past to the present, and even looking into the future, the act of researching and research itself are an integral part of society.

StarWrite.org also provides updates about the University of New Hampshire Observatory. The observatory offers free public viewing sessions, where visitors can look through a 14-inch telescope, on the first and third Saturdays of every month.

This site is designed by and its articles are written by Katy, a student at the University of New Hampshire, writer, astronomy enthusiast, and member of the UNH Observatory staff. She has been published numerous times, locally and nationally, for her poems and photography, and she aspires to become a science writer and an editor. She was the salutatorian for her graduating high school class, and she is currently studying English and journalism, among other things, in the University Honors Program. You may contact her here.
